23.04.18 - Accepting the RAF Challenge

RAF Benson have set a school challenge to local primary schools with the aim of inspiring the future generations in the local community while creating a basic understanding of the role of the RAF over the past 100 years.

This afternoon our School Councillors had the important job of collecting the challenge from the Station Commander who arrived by helicopter on the Kinecroft. It was all very exciting and we are looking forward to presenting the challenge to the rest of the school on Thursday.

School Councillors 2016-2017

Last week the School Councillors were thinking about how we can help encourage people to park considerately and safely during school drop off and pick up times. They decided with a little help that we should design some posters which we could display along St Nicholas Road.

I asked them to try and design a poster over the coming week and already this morning I've had two keen councilors who have been busy designing over the weekend! Well done! Over the next couple of weeks keep a look out for their parking posters.

School Council enjoyed discussing the new school prayer with Rev. Rice.
